I literally do not care what the Bible says about any political issue. I am not Christian. Christian scripture should have zero effect on my life or my personal freedoms.
The fact that I did not mention abortion anywhere in this post, yet the replies and reblogs are filled with Christians trying to “well actually” me and/or resorting to anti-choice insults is… telling, to say the least.
So you agree? Current US laws banning abortion are based on the religious convictions of a select few?
When y’all talk about the AIDS epidemic and Reagan, please do not leave out black people. Like for real, there’s several popular posts that circulate around this site about the epidemic in the 80’s and none of them mention black people at all, which is really upsetting to me. Black communities were ravaged by aids in the 80’s just like gay communities were. They suffered along side each other. While Reagan celebrated the deaths of gay people, he was also celebrating the deaths of black people. AIDS was killing off the “welfare queens” that Reagan and other republicans were constantly harping on about. AIDS killing black people meant less dependency on the social programs that they loathed and wanted to get rid of. It was another thing that helped them keep us from gaining power while the CIA brought crack into our communities to weaken us. And till this day, black people are contracting HIV and AIDS at the highest rates.
Please stop leaving out black people when talking about AIDS and Reagan’s response to it.

Bold of you to assume that a bi person’s partner identifies with their assigned gender. Great job ignoring the fact that there are nonbinary, genderfluid and other lgbtq+ individuals that break the gender binary. Great job narrowing it down to if the person has a dick or a vagina. Truly. Some of y'all really love to attack and exclude bi people, even at the expense of other members of the lgbtq+ community.
Some biphobes feel so much hatred for bisexual people that they’ll simply ignore the fact that bi people could very well be with a partner that breaks the binary standards of gender.
